We all know this is true but what do we do about it. A good Friend of mine owns a store in the midwest and has a host of great brands from 10 deep to Fiberops, False everything a sneaker head/ streetwear lover would want, he also has one of the best Adidas account ever, but he refuses to sell Nike Products because of this above reason. Nike has approached him many times offering a “Tier 0″ Account. My Friend is a well respected OG Sneaker head who knows a host of people in the bizz but his Heart and integrity is more respected. Most of his old Nike’s he has sold. This came about after One of his friend was hired by Nike to work on a project i can not mention, but to work with Nike you must see a Nike Factory. So they Flew him to a factory in a little town that was run by Drug lords. Nike did not pay the people directly but Paided the Drug Lords. the Drug lords were given freedom to give the money to the works how ever they saw fit. After seen this the guy told nike that he could not work for them and left a huge contract on the table. To this day neither one of my friend wears nike products. After telling me this story, he urged me to be more aware of my decisions (as i had on a fresh pair of ones on) So i am asking you to do the Same. Things will never change if we don’t Change them.
